Confirmed: Vålerenga Haug goalkeeper is ready for Toulouse

The Oslo club confirmed the transfer on its website on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old took over as goalkeeper for Vålerenga after Christopher Claesson went to Leeds in July 2021. Now it is Hogg who is fulfilling the foreign dream.

It’s a fantastic opportunity that every footballer dreams of. It’s such a shame to have to leave this wonderful club, not least the fans who helped me and stood behind me on the road. They made it easier for me to perform, and it has now been paid for by transport to Toulouse, says Hogg.

On Monday, he was undergoing a medical in France, having played for Vålerenga against Odd on Sunday. This was Oslo’s seventh consecutive game without a win. The team occupies the 14th position in Eliteserien having played 12 matches.

Now he left Vålerenga with boy goalkeepers Magnus Sjøeng and Storm Strand-Kolbjørnsen at A-stall. Sporting director Joasim Johnson announced that the team is trying to secure a new first option.
